Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda
The hotel appears to have “grown up”. Mangroves are filled in which keeps the resort from looking so stark. Nice beach. True swim-out suites available. The resort offers Italian, French, Mexican and an International Buffet. Beautiful resort!
Iberostar Paraiso del Mar and Grand

del Mar – Still a family favorite! It has been some time since I've seen this property. No changes. Still clean rooms, lush landscaping, fantastic pool area. Sharing privileges with Beach. Beth and I are back from our sales meeting on our brand new ship the ms Eurodam. This ship was delivered to Holland America Line in early July in Europe and we greeted her for her first arrival to the states. This was my first glimpse of the ship and have to say how pleased I was with all the new features that this ship has to offer. The company held an important press conference onboard detailing Holland America Lines future plans to do further significant enhancements to our S class ships and the Rotterdam at $40 million per ship. Then we were thrilled to hear the announcement that Holland America Line will be returning to Bermuda in Aug 2010. This is first time since the 70’s and we will have a significant advantage in the Bermuda market by the location our ship will be docking right in downtown Hamilton! So lots of news to share so hence the recap….
