Secrets Silversands

Wow!  Fantastic property!!!  Contemporary with an intimate feel.  Nice beach but remember to bring your aqua shoes - seafloor is a bit rough.  Truly a pool lover´s paradise!  Himitsu restaurant features Teppanyaki tables and a Sushi Belt.  What is a sushi belt?  The sushi chef stands at one end of the bar creating sushi delicacies and places them on the "conveyor" belt which rotates around the bar.  The guests take what they want as the dishes pass by.  Cool!  Unique to this property is the Ratatouille - a Mediterranean restaurant.  On a related note - The restaurants offer a 140% seating capcity - meaning the hotel can seat the entire resort plus an additional 40% at any given time.  You will always be able to get a table at one of the 7 total a la carte restaurants.  The Pevonia Spa opens September 5th and will offer a full array of treatments.  Currently, messages are available in several areas of the resort.  Additionally, free transportation is offered to Secrets Capri for other specialized services.  Remember the Secrets Boxes?  They are back!  You can order 24 hour room service and have it delivered without ever having to open your door.  Rooms include the amenties that you´ve come to expect from a Secrets plus a few extras - adjustable thermostat next to the bed, remote control operated ceiling fan, a sound system in the bathroom, a phone in the bathroom (I would never admit to using it!) and even a scale for those masochists out there!  The resort transforms at night with beautiful lighting features and jazzy type music thoughout the property.

Dreams Tulum

Peace and serenity for couples and families!  Located about 3 miles from the historic Tulum ruins.  On a related note - There is now a night tour of the Tulum ruins offered.  The sturctures are lighted and the temperature is MUCH more pleasant!  A unique way to visit an old standard!  There are no other resorts located between Dreams Tulum and the ruins which adds to the feeling of seclusion.  Dreams Tulum is one of the few properties in the Riviera Maya that has a Catholic chapel on site available for weddings.  With the recent addition of the new lobby, Dreams Junior Suites, the Explorer´s Kids Club, new convention facilities and the Pevonia Spa, this is an easy sell!  Don´t forget to upsell the non-stop transfers to this resort.  Your clients will be the first dropped off and the last picked up.  They will thank you for this!

Gran Bahia Coba

Spectacular beach offering a protected area with a pier and snorkeling.  Shuttle service offered throughout the property.  Important to note - Starting November 1, 2008, guests of each section of the Bahia complex will only be allowed to eat buffet style in their own resort;  there will be no buffet restaurant sharing privleges.  However, a la carte dining options will remain unchanged.  A great property for groups and guests looking for a lot of dining and entertainment options!

Grand Sirenis

A chic, contemporary style resort.  There are Mayan ruins on site, great snorkeling and a fantastic beach.  The hotel features 3 large pools along with a lazy river.  On a related note - unless you want to purchase a raft for about $10 in the gift shop, bring your own.  The resort does not provide them.  Apple guests are treated to an exclusive beach BBQ every Thursday night hosted by the resort management and staff.  A great value added benefit for your clients available only through Apple Vacations!  Watch for the opening of the Grand Sirenis Spa in November!

Palladium Colonial / Kantenah

A familiar old friend!  Stunning beach, fantastic food and service make this a consistent Apple favorite year after year.  Important to note - No reservations are now required for a la carte restaurants!  One more reason to sell this resort!  I ate lunch here - the buffet was VERY extensive.  Great selection and quality!  Easy sell!

Barcelo Maya Palace

Located on one of my favorite beaches in the Riviera Maya!  A well kept secret - for now!  This resort is a winner!!!  Water park and family of 5 friendly make this property a favorite for everyone!  This property has full exchange privleges with the other resorts within the Barcelo complex.
