The hotel appears to have “grown up”. Mangroves are filled in which keeps the resort from looking so stark. Nice beach. True swim-out suites available. The resort offers Italian, French, Mexican and an International Buffet. Beautiful resort!

Iberostar Paraiso del Mar and Grand

del Mar – Still a family favorite! It has been some time since I've seen this property. No changes. Still clean rooms, lush landscaping, fantastic pool area. Sharing privileges with Beach. Room service from 11a-11p. Remember – King bedded rooms have a shower only while 2 Queen bedded rooms offer tub with shower.
Grand – Stunning! Butler service for every room / all junior suites. This property goes above and beyond just about every resort in the Riviera Maya. Indoor pool as part of the spa. All adult. New Honeymoon Villas are open and available – featuring private plunge pools, Mayan showers, HUGE square footage. Perfect for couples looking for seclusion and privacy! 24 hour room service offered along with a choice of 5 additional restaurants. Guests have sharing privileges with all the Iberostar properties in the complex.

Ocean Punta Coral and Turquesa
Sister properties with the Ocean Blue in PUJ. Resort is shaped like two horseshoes so that all rooms are partial or full ocean view. No reservations or restrictions for a la carte dining and all restaurants centrally located in the resort. Rooms have a Moroccan feel with dark woods and deep wall colors accented by bright pillows and soft goods. Family of 5 friendly. All rooms have mounted flat screen televisions. Beach is nice if just a bit on the “sea-weedy” side.

Secrets Maroma
Wow! Did I say, Wow?! Wow! This resort is beautiful! 24 hour room service, no reservations or restrictions on dining. The restaurants are beautifully appointed – each with it's own unique ambiance. Again with the “light show” at night throughout the resort. Rooms are stunning! All junior suite with canopied beds and netting. Large amount of swim-out suites (true swimout where you do not have to walk across any land to get in the pool). Rooms have a “larger than life” feel. Large wall hangings and mirrors. Not a traditional feeling room – more like a home. Tile work in the bathroom, sitting area and on the patio add to the ambiance. And, don't forget the beach!!! This is a beach-lover's paradise for sure! Crystal clear water with extensive pure, sparkling white sand beach. This property is going to be a winner!!!
