Guests enjoy use of two freshwater swimming pools and gear for non-motorized water sports including kayaks. Bicycles enable guests to explore the property and the beach invites long strolls. An on-site dive center can arrange snorkeling trips (surcharges) along with scuba diving courses, certification, and trips (surcharges for all).
Golfers can arrange tee times at Puerto Aventuras Golf Club 9 km (5.5 miles) away (surcharges for golf fees, equipment rentals, transportation).

The majority of amenities, activities, and gratuities at this resort are included in the room rate; guests will not be charged extra for the majority of amenities and activities. This adults-only hotel is located on Kantenah Beach along the Riviera Maya, 27 kilometers (17 miles) from the ruins of Tulum. The resort’s stretch of white-sand beach is dotted with palm trees and offers plenty of room for strolling or relaxing. Wooden benches and beach beds canopied in white fabric create a romantic atmosphere.
With à la carte gourmet service in all three restaurants, the resort ensures that guests do not have to wait in buffet lines. The resort also offers a menu of facial and body treatments such as deep cleansing, scrubs, and thermal mud, Swedish, sports, reflexology, and shiatsu massage, plus hair and nail care.

The 280 suites at El Dorado Seaside Suites Gourmet All Inclusive are housed in a series of 26 three-story white buildings that run parallel to the shore, affording guests quick access to the beach.
All suites feature either terraces or balconies furnished with two chairs (some may have a hammock). Four-poster, curtained beds with pillowtop mattresses and triple sheeting, jetted tubs large enough for two, and TVs with CD/DVD players are provided (some rooms come with plasma TVs).
Smoking is not allowed inside suites.

La Carreta Restaurant - Serves gourmet Mexican cuisine for dinner with à la carte menu items. Teamed with the bar, La Cantina, a tequila bar which opens in the late afternoon with a selection of international brands and its popular margaritas. Dinner reservations required; several seatings nightly. Dress code: semi-formal pants or Bermudas, T-shirt with sleeves, any shoes except beach sandals.
Klay Talay Restaurant - This seaside restaurant serves Asian dishes. Includes Klay Talay Bar for pre-dinner drinks. Dinner only. Reservations required. Dress code: semi-formal pants or Bermuda shorts, T-shirt with sleeves, any shoes except beach sandals.
Los Arrecifes Restaurant - Offers international gourmet cuisine for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Chef’s specials change daily.
Sandwicherie - Serves snacks from late morning through the afternoon.
Guacamayas Bar - Located next to Los Arrecifes and favored for its swings. Open from mid-morning. Also serves afternoon tea, coffee, and pastries.
Guacamayas Lounge - Offers drinks while guests recline on lounge cabanas and enjoy the sea view. Open from late evening.
Los Cotorros - Poolside bar, outfitted with swings and open from mid-morning; closes by dinnertime.
Arrecifes Swim-up Bar - Serves cooling drinks all day.

My husband and I were scheduled for our honeymoon this December at Sandals Whitehouse. However, we just found out that this resort closed unexpectedly until December 18th. Therefore, Sandals took it upon themselves to move our trip to Sandals Montego Bay. Although they upgraded us to a better room, I have read many bad reviews about this resort. What should I believe? I have the insurance on the trip, what are my options? HELP!!!

| Sandals Montego Bay is a nice resort, just very different than that of Sandals Whitehouse. The beach is smaller and the property is older and it's right next to the airport so airport noise will be heard...
That being said, the resort is lively with a good location to explore the Montego Bay area....rooms are mostly renovated and the food is the same as at Whitehouse.
If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to ask.
Also, if you haven't made final payment yet, you can still switch your reservation to work with an agency like ours, where we could put in further requests for upgrades, etc. at no additional cost.

My husband and I are wanting to take a 40th birthday trip. Friends have asked about a Big Party. We wanted to go to Jamaica but thought that may be too expensive for others.
