To Whom It May Concern:
I recently honeymooned at your Sandals Grande location in St. Lucia. The entire experience was so wonderful and memorable but I wanted to take a minute to especially commend our evening butler Gisele. Our room was not quite ready when we got there and although we were not angry, she went out of her way to upgrade us from the Prime Minister Suite to a Rondoval Suite. We were so impressed with the Rondoval that we will not return to a Sandals in the future without booking it. We also showed several other guests who agreed it would be worth the extra money.
Gisele, however, was the highlight of our experience. She made a point to make sure everything was always perfect for us. We told her on several occasions that it was not necessary to walk us to our dinner reservations (that she made for us) but she insisted and showed up promptly 15 minutes before our reservation every night. She proceeded to walk us to each restaurant where she walked us to the front of the line and escorted us to the best seat in the restaurant. She was always gracious, energetic, warm and kind. She even acted enthused to see our photos every night from whatever adventure weʼd been on that day.
One night we arrived home from dinner to find that she had decorated our whole bedroom to welcome us in for the evening. It was so fantastic and even though Iʼm sure itʼs something your resort does all the time, it really made us feel at extraordinary and very special.
We also valued her opinion and asked her advice on several items. She recommended a zip line excursion and Soufriere Adventure cruise among others, which we LOVED. She also recommended where we do some local shopping and which restaurant to try at another location.
Wendell and their back up butler also did an absolutely fantastic job. Each giving us what seemed to be undivided attention and meeting any need we may have had.
To conclude, thank you for giving us the most memorable and special honeymoon. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. When we showed the pictures to our friends back home they were blown away and are all planning trips to the Sandals Grande in St. Lucia as well J Not to mention, we will 100% be back. Most likely in a Rondoval and most definitely requesting Gisele.
