Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort, Bahamas
Sandals Royal Bahamian, winner of the prestigious Five Star Diamond Award, stands alone as the premier destination for couples who demand only the very best. From our offshore island - a veritable resort within a resort - to world-class dining in 8 gourmet restaurants; from rooms and suites, ranging from the merely sumptuous to the over-the-top lavish, to Versailles - like gardens filled with stunning statuary - you'll know, beyond a doubt, that you've discovered paradise
Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island Just 40 minutes from Miami, Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa Resort & Offshore Island is for discerning travelers who desire a blend of sophisticated British traditions such as high tea with an Exotic Offshore Island Adventure. Once the famed Balmoral Club of the 1940s, and a favorite of the elite including the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, this resort is located directly on Nassau's renowned Cable Beach.
Moments away by launch, Sandals Cay boasts two beaches, one for high-energy water sports and the other for some of the best snorkeling in the region, plus an authentic Bahamian seafood house. In select suite categories, guests enjoy Rolls Royce or Mercedes-Benz VIP chauffeured transfers in addition to butler service.

 Tripguy's Review
Reviews
Why choose Sandals Royal Bahamian?:
  • SRB is a great choice for couples who want a very elegant resort - probably the most elegant of all the Sandals properties
  • Plenty of access to direct flights from the US
  • An island that is easy to explore including Casino entertainment/nightlife, great golf, shopping (Nassau's straw market), and even a visit to Atlantis.
  • Only 15 minutes from the airport, so minimal travel times to/from the resort
  • Access to Sandals' private island at the resort which makes the stay even more interesting
  • Transfers for butler room catagory guests are done via Rolls Royce

Why not Sandals Royal Bahamian?:

  • Bahamas weather in Dec-February is suspect to cold spells due to its proximity to Florida
  • Generally the most expensive Sandals property
  • Although the beach is nice, it doesn't compare with some of the beaches on other islands (ie. Negril, St. Lucia, etc.)

Insider tip: Located just above the beach, a spa secluded from resort activities provides quiet, social soaking for 24 people with a full ocean view.

 Ask the Tripguy
At Beaches Turks and Caicos, how many full or halfbathrooms does the Michaelangelo Family Suite in the Italian Village have?
the Imperial Family Suites have 2 full bathrooms. the Concierge level rooms in the Italian Village have 1 large bathroom.
Hi, I am looking into visiting Jamaica. What are the main differences between Riu Negril and Riu Palace Tropical?
Riu Palace Tropical Bay is more upscale than Riu Negril. It has larger, more recently upgraded rooms, slightly more upscale food, and a nicer lobby. Guests staying at Riu Palace Tropical Bay can use the facilities at Riu Negril, but not vice-versa. We'll be glad to assist you in getting rates for both properties (and others we like in Negril).
what is an average tip for the butler for a week at Beaches Turkes and Caicos?
Tips can generally be from $10-$100/day depending on how much/little you use the butler and how valuable you find their service. We generally hear people paying $25-$50/day on average.
