TRIPGUY TRAVEL LLC HONORED WITH TRAVEL IMPRESSIONS’ 'BEST OF THE BEST GLOBE AWARD'
Playa del Carmen, Mexico (Nov. 16, 2012) – TripGuy Travel LLC (www.TripGuy.com) has been recognized by Travel Impressions (http://www.travelimpressions.com), one of the country’s largest tour operators selling destinations worldwide, with a "Best of the Best Globe Award" – an honor bestowed on a limited number of agencies and consortia partners that are considered Travel Impressions’ top performers.
TripGuy received the award at Travel Impressions’ 17th annual “Best of the Best” gala event, held Nov. 14 – 17, 2012 at the Paradisus Playa del Carmen, La Perla, in Riviera Maya, Quintana Roo, Mexico.

On-site activities included presentations by senior Travel Impressions leadership on social media, digital marketing and web optimization, a private tradeshow and networking sessions with a broad group of key supplier partners, local excursions and other celebratory events.
The welcome dinner was hosted by the Cancún Convention & Visitors Bureau and The Riviera Maya Destination Marketing Office, and included an appearance by the Governor of the State of Quintana Roo Roberto Borge Angulo, who spoke about the impressive and sustained growth of tourism in his state and its vital importance to the region. Other sponsored events included a dinner reception by the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, a gala cocktail reception hosted by the Mexico Tourism Board, a golf tournament at Playacar Golf Club and spa pampering at YHI Spa.
On the final night of the “Best of the Best” event, guests were entertained at the gala celebration by Grammy®-nominated recording artist Taylor Dayne, famous for her singles “Tell It to My Heart”, “Prove Your Love” and “Love Will Lead You Back”, among many others.

FARMINGDALE, NY (Oct. 5, 2012) – Out of a pool of over 800 applications received nationwide, Ruth DeMuth, professional travel consultant with TripGuy Travel, LLC, has been named as one of 96 Travel Impressions Ambassadors for their newly-launched program (/www.travimp.com/ambassadorprogram) and will act as a brand advocate for Sandals & Beaches Resorts through Sept. 2013.
Ruth has been carefully selected by Travel Impressions and Sandals & Beaches Resorts to participate in this program based on her booking history with Sandals & Beaches Resorts via Travel Impressions; personal experience and knowledge; agent enthusiasm and passion; plus communication skills and a willingness to share content through social media.
Selected agents are year-long brand Ambassadors, each with specific responsibilities for one month, beginning in October 2012 through September 2013. Travel Impressions will support Ruth by collaborating on innovative promotions; generating public relations efforts, creating buzz among consumers to drive business to Ambassadors, helping to promote Ambassador status and providing exclusive social media education opportunities.
