I was scheduled for me my husband and ten year old son to stay at Beaches Sandy Bay Febryary 2012, A rep. called from Beaches to say that resort will be closing this September. What will happen?

Obviously, you didn't book with TripGuy and most likely booked direct with Beaches.

We've already notified all of our affected clients and are in the process of moving them to either Beaches Negril or Beaches Boscobel at no additional cost.  We've pro-actively been expediting the moves to do our best to ensure that our clients get the resort that best matches their needs and a room category that most similarly matches what they had booked at Beaches Sandy Bay.

If you booked direct with Beaches or thru Beaches.com, and have not yet made the final payment on your trip, please contact a TripGuy agent for we will be able to assist you in picking the best resort for you and working out the details on your behalf with Beaches.

To Beaches' credit - they are protecting you at no additional cost at 2 great resorts - so generally this is a positive change.
