The True definition of vacation - Through the eyes of a Mom We booked a 10 day stay (with the assistance of our wonderful travel guide, Ruth Demuth (Ruth Demuth, Professional Travel Planner, TripGuy Travel, LLC, This email address is being protected from spambots. Honestly, looking at the website for this location, we would have NEVER booked the trip. We had a ton of questions and requirements for this two tween boy and two parent family, including activities, food choices, safety, kid-centric activities, water activities, overall safety, etc. Ruth sent us ALL the requested information and more. Without her guidance, we would have done booked this trip. IT WAS FANTASTIC. The rooms were clean and well laid out. The resort (which includes three connected hotels, beaches, etc. via walking paths, bikes, golf cart rides and continuously running buses), had a waterpark at the Grand Moon, a fantastic pool layout with slide in one resort, and a Flow rider at the third resort. The food selections were numerous. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The folks helping with the excursions weren't pushy and gave honest reviews of activities. We utilized resort credits and went on the Dolphin Discovery (this is a bucket list item that has now been completed and totally worth it!). We are going back. Helpful hint - download and use Open Table to book reservations two days ahead for the handful of restaurants that require reservations. There is also an app for the facility (Palace Resorts) which lists all the restaurants and activities. Take some time and plan out what you want to do for the week, including restaurants that may need reservations, excursions, evening activities, etc. Parting comment - Ocean was full of jellyfish, so water activities were limited and the seaweed recycling activities were impressive, albeit stinky.
